This initiative addresses challenges for the development of booking and ticketing multimodal digital mobility services.

Planning and buying tickets for journeys that combine different modes of transport and /or operators can be cumbersome for travellers in the EU. To compare different options, many use digital services such as route planners and ticket vendors.

This initiative therefore looks at simplifying planning and purchasing of transport tickets across the EU. It will also focus on simplifying and clarifying the rules for commercial agreements between operators and digital services.
