The paper edition was financed through a combination of sales revenue and the state budget.
The online edition is financed over the state budget.
Other gazettes
Official notices and other legal announcements are published in a separate official gazette, the Post- och Inrikes tidningar — PoIT (Post and Domestic Newspapers).
This is the oldest currently published newspaper in the world, although no paper edition has been published since 1 January 2007 (online edition: http://www.poit.org).

A digital copy in the pdf/A format is saved to the Government Offices registration system with the file of the legislation in question

The Secretariat for Legal and Linguistic Draft Revision is a part of the Prime Minister´s Office
Microsoft Word templates are used, both for primary and secondary legislation
Workflow
For the electronic legislative procedure a special workflow and document processing system called E-SFS is used. The same system applies to primary and secondary legislation. Texts are converted into PDF for on line publishing
Publishing
A statute is normally published on the website within a week from the date it was issued.
The Secretariat for Legal and Linguistic Draft Revision is responsible for the consolidation of laws and ordinances. All legislation in force is available in a consolidated version
Deadline for consolidation
The consolidated version usually appears the day after the published version
Domstolsverket (Swedish National Courts Administration) is responsible for the publication of lagrummet.se. Lagrummet.se is a portal for Swedish public administration legal information. Lagrummet.se contains legal information from the Government, the Swedish Parliament, Higher courts and Government agencies. Each agency is responsible for the content of legal information they provide, and how it is published on the Internet.
