The Legislative Herald of Georgia is the only official gazette of Georgia.

Basic tasks
Publication and consolidation of legal acts and other documents subject to statutory publication, translation and publication on the website of the legislation of Georgia, EU legal acts translated into Georgian, and judgments delivered by the European Court of Human Rights in relation to Georgia translated into Georgian. Creation of printed versions of legal acts.
The body/official adopting (issuing) a normative act prepares a draft normative act using the Legislative Herald’s electronic programme (publish.matsne.gov.ge). The same programme is used for verification, endorsement by authorised persons, commenting, uploading of accompanying documents, final endorsement, and sending for publication.
Documents sent via the electronic system publish.matsne.gov.ge are reflected in another electronic programme – upload.matsne.gov.ge – for further technical processing and publication. Before being published, documents go through two stages: 1. Editing, which includes comparing documents to the original and correcting minor technical mistakes; 2. Adjustment for the electronic programme (in terms of format and style).
The consolidated versions of legislative acts are available to everyone free of charge. Access to the consolidated versions of subordinate normative acts is a paid service.
