Content The "State Law Gazette" (Landesgesetzblatt) covers all sorts of legislation (laws, ordinances, notices, treaties …) according to "Publications Act" (Kundmachungsgesetz), see legal basis below.

The signed electronic edition (PDF/A) of the "State Law Gazette" (Liechtensteinisches Landesgesetzblatt) is solely binding, according to "Promulgation Act" (Kundmachungsgesetz), currently LGBl. 1985.041, article 4 resp. article 7.

Authenticity

The measures to guarantee the integrity of the workflow and the authenticity of the (electronically) published text include a chain of trust. An electronic signature and SSL are used, according to article 9 "Publications Act" (Kundmachungsgesetz); several copies of the electronic documents are made.

Archiving Backup copies of each signed "State Law Gazette" (Landesgesetzblatt) are being filed by the state archive, see Article 9 "Promulgation Act" (Kundmachungsgesetz)

  • There is no unique text processing system. A standard software (MS-Word) is used.

Workflow There is no single integrated electronic workflow-System. Drafts resp. acts enacted are being exchanged internally in MS-Word, as docx, and published by the Government Legal Services on http://www.gesetze.li as signed PDF/A resp. html.

  • The Government Legal Services is in charge of proofreading and editing the texts.
