State of play, main conclusions, outlook

The Directive 2014/67/EU on the enforcement of Directive 96/71/EC concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services and amending Regulation (EU) No 1024/2012 on administrative cooperation through the Internal Market Information System ('the IMI Regulation') sets out a range of new measures to improve the implementation, application and enforcement in practice of Directive 96/71/EC. It is expected that the initiative will favour administrative cooperation and improve instruments against frauds and abuses, by improving legal clarity, reducing the frequency of judicial litigation and/or support their efficient solution.

Estimated savings and benefits
