11/08/2023 - Patch for multilingual support for components

Due to the recent migration to Liferay DXP 7.4, some components (templates and widget templates) required patching to maintain multilingual and menu selection support.

Patched components:

The updates were deployed in BETA and PRODUCTION environments. If you are an editor on a Publications Office site and experience any issues, please contact us for assistance.

  • IMPROVEMENTS - Increased integration of Pubications Office services to global design system while still maintaining unique traits.
  • IMPROVEMENTS to Global CSS to resolve past issues, give more options to site creators and content editors and more easily apply consistent styles and components.
  • NEW - Creation of new components, and improvements to existing elements.
  • IMPROVEMENTS and harmonisation of existing elements and components.
  • NEW Color palettes explaining functionality, visual identity and accessibility specifications.
  • NEW Typography guidelines with detailed use specifications, CSS utilities and variables.
    The default font changed from Lucida Grande to Arial.
  • NEW Body text link specifications, including default, hover, visited and focus states.
  • NEW Icons service.
  • NEW - How to create modal windows.
