Widgets for publications

Introduction

The Publications Office’s widgets allow you to display and browse publications and organisational details on your website, platform or blog. Widgets are a free and easy way to embed content from op.europa.eu (from the EU Law, EU Publications and Summaries of Legislation collections). Widgets can be customised to match the look and feel of the platform they are placed on.

Types of widgets

We have five different widgets that can be embedded in a website. All widgets are multilingual and allow certain modifications.

1. Search form.
   Allows users to search for and find Publications Office publications on your website.
2. Search results.
   Displays the search results returned by either your user’s search query or your preset search query.
3. Selected publications.
   Displays a list of publications of your choice.
4. Publication details.
   Shows a single publication’s detailed metadata.
5. Organisation details (EU Whoiswho).
   Illustrates the organisational structure of an EU institution and the hierarchy of its staff.
