ATTO is an internal application of the Publications Office for managing translations. The acronym comes from the French term ‘Atelier des Tables de Traductions de l’Office des publications’ (Workbench for translation tables of the Publications Office).
The structure of the ATTO tables is simple: a code regroups translations in different languages.
ATTO is used for managing three types of labels: metadata; editorial content; labels of the graphical user interface. Here you will only find metadata-related tables that are used by EUR-Lex. As the content of these tables is application-specific and of varying quality, reuse for other purposes is not recommended.
