The Hague 20-21 June 2019
Dear invitee of the 16th European Forum of Official Gazettes, We kindly invite you to join us in The Hague for the 16th European Forum of Official Gazettes. This year's conference will take place at the New Babylon Meeting Center in The Hague, the Netherlands on 20 and 21 June 2019. In this document we will provide you with some practical information about the registration process and the conference itself, as it is available to us at this point. Please note that this information is subject to change, and that we will provide an updated version of this document at a later stage.
Registration
In order to participate in the conference we kindly ask you to register beforehand. We have set up a registration page at the following website: https://events.eventzilla.net/e/16th-european-forum-of-official-gazettes-2138727514.
To enter the website, please submit the following code: EFOG2019
Please take note that we use a third-party tool, Eventzilla. This means that this organization will store some personal data. In accordance with GDPR you can ask Eventzilla to delete all of your personal data after the event.
In order for us to make the necessary arrangements with third parties involved in organising this event, we kindly ask you to register before 15 May. After this date, registration to attend the formal programme of the Conference is still possible, but we cannot guarantee your admittance to the (guided) museum tour and diner on Thursday 20 June and the social program on Saturday 22 June.
We kindly invite 2 representatives per country to register (separately) for this event. Please be aware that partners and spouses are not taken into account in the organisation of this year’s Conference.
Venue
We kindly invite you to join us in The Hague for the 16th European Forum of Official Gazettes. This year's conference will take place at the New Babylon Meeting Center in The Hague, the Netherlands on 20 and 21 June 2019.
Accommodation
The venue for both days of the conference is the
New Babylon Meeting Center

The Babylon Hotel is situated right next to the venue of the Conference. There is, however, no special arrangement with the Babylon Hotel. Of course, via various booking sites you can find many other suitable options for accommodation.
On 20 June, registration at the conference starts at 12.00. A light lunch will be served, before the programme starts at 13.00.
Museum tour and dinner
After the formal programme of Thursday, we will invite you to join us for dinner at Paleis Lange Voorhout. This former royal palace now hosts the Escher Museum. Before dinner is served there is an opportunity to visit the museum with a guided tour. It is a 15 minute walk from the conference location to the palace. The dinner will start around 19.30.
On the registration page you can indicate whether you want to visit the museum, either with the guided tour or on your own. And if you will join us for dinner or make other plans all together.
Dress code: Smart casual
Social programme
For the social programme on Saturday 22 June, we are considering a city walk with Scheveningen beach as final destination of the programme. Please note that we are still at the planning stage of these activities. We will send a more complete version of the social programme at a later stage. Cancellation of attendance is still possible after registration by sending us an email to euforum@koop.overheid.nl.
