This report proposes a revised structure and content for the Dashboard of EU Youth Indicators which will feed into the development of the EU’s Youth Strategy. Knowledge and evidence-building are placed at the core of European youth policy in the ‘EU Strategy Investing and Empowering: A renewed open method of coordination to address youth challenges and opportunities and the Council’s ‘Resolution on a renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field for 2010-2018 (2009). These documents emphasise the role of knowledge of the living conditions, values and attitudes of young people with a view to sharing it with other policy fields.
