The aim of the REDIIBIO project is to provide technical assistance to the Commission to promote the robust and harmonised implementation of the new sustainability criteria for forest and agricultural biomass under the REDII (call for tender ENER/C1/2019-439) and for the preparation of relevant implementing acts. The specific objective of this project is to support the preparation of an Implementing Act establishing operational guidance on the evidence for demonstrating compliance with the sustainability criteria on forest biomass set out in article 29 (6) (7) of REDII, as required under Article 29 (8) of REDII.
