This teacher’s guide is part of an educational package designed to explain to pupils aged 7 to 9 what the European Union is, why it was created and what the role of the Council and the Member States is. It offers lesson-planning suggestions for classroom teaching based on the ‘Yooki and the Union of the Forest’ story book and the ‘Learn with Yooki’ activity book. It includes ideas for thematic discussions, group games and activities that children can engage with to reach defined learning objectives.
