Apraksts

The service for this category II contract will require the contractor to provide a site within the location detailed above and to manage the service and all its associated operations, including the provision of site machinery, transportation of waste, and staffing in order to facilitate the delivery of the service. The contract will require a wide range of materials to be recovered, by salvaging waste brought to the site, through sorting, containerising and transportation to authorised outlets for recycling or re-sale. Following a separate recovery of soil and rubble received at the recycling centre, the contract is likely to specify a recycling rate of 75 % from the remaining waste. This site is expected to manage an estimated 2 000 tonnes of waste per annum.
