How to contribute (on behalf of an EU institution)

If you work for an EU institution, we invite you to submit your contribution via Service Now, under two available modules

Reference Data Management

Reference Data Platform Support

Submit a request for creation, update or dissemination of controlled vocabularies

Use this form to request the creation of a new vocabulary, update of an existing one, obtain a persistent URI or request dissemination

Request access to the platforms, report issues, or obtain support for their use

It covers requests that provide access and support for reference data platforms maintained by the Publications Office. These platforms, including the EU Vocabularies portal, VocBench, and ShowVoc, enable the management, publication, and use of reference data and controlled vocabularies

How to contribute (general public)

The EU Vocabularies team welcomes suggestions from our users to improve the controlled vocabularies and reference data published by the Publications Office of the European Union on EU Vocabularies .

You can:

  • propose a new concept,
  • suggest a correction or update to an existing one.

If you are browsing EU Vocabularies, the easiest way to send us your suggestions directly is to use the CONTRIBUTE button in the top right-hand corner (shown below).

The CONTRIBUTE button appears when you browse a dataset on EU Vocabularies
