Provision of scientific, technical and management services for delivery of a Fen Restoration project as part of the Tóchar Midlands Wetland Restoration Scheme, in a distinct area comprising all of counties Westmeath, Longford, Roscommon, Laois, and Offaly and parts of Galway, Kildare and Tipperary. This project is co-funded by the EU under the EU Just Transition Fund. More information available on our website www.tocharwetlands.ie In summary the objectives of this Fen Restoration Project are as follows: • Provision of Fen Restoration or Conservation Plans for a total of thirty-six sites across 1,472 hectares. • Implementation of restoration measures/actions on fen sites. • Build capacity and visibility of fen restoration techniques. The tenderer shall provide information to demonstrate their knowledge and practical experience of ecology, wetland, peatland and fen habitats, hydrology of wetland ecosystems, design of restoration measures, project management and procurement
