Bħala attur importanti tas-Solidarjetà Ewropea, l-Uffiċċju Ewropew ta’ Appoġġ fil-Qasam tal-Asil (EASO) għandu rwol ewlieni fl-implimentazzjoni tas-Sistema Ewropea Komuni tal-Asil (SEKA), billi jrawwem aktar kooperazzjoni ma’ u bejn l-Istati Membri u jipprovdi l-appoġġ meħtieġ sabiex il-valuri fundamentāli tas-SEKA jissarrfu fil-prattika: l-ekwità u l-ġustizzja, u biex jiżgura li l-każijiet individwali tal-asil jiġu trattati b’mod koerenti mill-Istati Membri kollha.
