TRIS is the Commission database implementing the Single Market Transparency Directive (Directive 2015/1535). It is a tool containing draft technical regulations prepared by the participating countries as well as the relevant exchanges between national authorities and the European Commission regarding these. It offers the possibility for national authorities to draw inspiration from one another, for stakeholders to know what legislation is prepared in the different countries and have their say on it all done for the benefit of the proper functioning of the single market.
