Étude pilote Eurograduate
Évaluation technique de l’enquête pilote Eurograduate et étude de faisabilité de sa mise en oeuvre à grande échelle : résultats principaux
Publication metadata
To help reaching a good match between the competences developed in education and the skills needed on the labour market, there is a need to improve data availability on what graduates do after their qualification. This is essential to support policy makers and educational establishments to ensure the employability of graduates, tackle skills gaps and mismatches, as well as to promote social
inclusion. In the recommendation on tracking graduates of the Council of the European Union of 2017, the member states of the European Union committed to collect graduate tracking data in higher education and vocational education and training that is comparable at European level, with the support of the European Commission. In line with the Council Recommendation, the EUROGRADUATE pilot survey, conducted in eight countries (Austria, Czechia, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Malta and Norway), aims at laying the ground for a sustainable European-wide graduate survey. It has been complemented by extensive expert interviews on the interest in and the data collection conditions of the Erasmus+ countries regarding a potential future Europeanwide graduate survey. This work has been compiled in the “Technical assessment of the EUROGRADUATE pilot survey and feasibility of a full rollout”, in short EUROGRADUATE technical report. The objective of this report is to give record of the technical aspects of the pilot survey data collection conditions, including lessons learned and recommendations for a potential European graduate survey and gives a feasibility assessment. This executive summary outlines the main findings of the technical report.
