The EU-level target on digital skills is not covered in the 2024 edition of the Education and Training Monitor (as the underlying data were not available during its drafting), but the Monitor Toolbox does include links to the ICILS 2023 results as published on 12 November 2024.

- Underachievement in digital skills, measuring the share of students in their eighth year of schooling performing below the level 2 threshold on the computer and information literacy achievement scale. IEA ICILS

- Achievement and performance in digital skills can be broken down by sex and by socio-economic background, the latter proxied by parental occupation, parental education, and the number of books at home. IEA ICILS
