Heat composite Zumikon Replacement Heat generation
The central heating system or main supply of the district heating network of the municipality of Zumikon is housed in the Juch school building. The district heating network is operated by 2 fossil boilers (2x 750kW) and a water / water heat pump with an output of 550 kW (dead. 2’050 kW). The heat pump is in possession of the energy 360°. This also operates or maintains the heat pump. Due to the system mix of a fossil heating system with a heat pump system, high return temperatures in the system result in the transition and summer time, which damage the heat pump system. In the winter period, the grid works correctly and it results in an acceptable return temperature of approx. +45°C according to the feedback of energy 360°. The energy 360° has made no adjustments to the grid except for an adjustment of the regulation in the schoolhouse Juch (Syspo). The high return temperatures of the district heating network are due to the lack of communication between the individual substations. In the individual substations (total 8 units), regulations, circulation pumps and heat meters are getting old and in need of refurbishment. The reading of all heat meters in the substations is done by hand and cannot currently be read on a control level. The present invitation to tender seeks the replacement of the heat generation or the renewal of the apparatus for [for properties A, B, D, E, G, H and J. The center cafe and the community center are excluded from the planning perimeter, as a refurbishment project of these properties is pending.
