Description

Subject of the notice Conclusion of a framework agreement for the procurement of infusion technology (infusion syringe pumps, infusion pumps, docking station and fluid management software) for the equipment of intensive care areas, operating theatres and normal stations. Explanation of the product choice / minimum technical requirements For the safe care of the affected patient group, the use of infusion technology is necessary, which meets the following mandatory technical and functional characteristics: 1. Compatibility with the large-scale docking stations already in use in the hospital (Space or Space Plus model series) as well as with the fluid management software of B. Braun Melsungen GmbH & Co. KG. Compatibility shall be demonstrated by appropriate documentation and certificates. 2. Compliance with the most current and valid standards according to IEC 60601-1 3. Safety requirements according to DIN EN 60601-2-24 4. Uniform user interface with pump types A (Space Plus series) and/or pump type B (Space series) 5, which are already in use at the clinic. Docking station for mechanical fastening and power supply and data transmission of the previously described infusion pumps and infusion syringe pumps at a bed position on the intensive care or IMC station. 6. Possibilities to connect the docking station and thus the infusion pumps with the IT infrastructure via Ethernet 7. Possibilities to extend the docking station to at least 12 device slots 8. For pump type A: Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi / Wi-Fi module) Type A infusion pumps shall have an integrated Wi-Fi module that enables secure wireless communication for therapy monitoring, documentation and, where applicable, remote adjustment of therapy parameters. An exclusively wired or local data transmission is not sufficient due to the clinical processes. 9. Infusion management system for the networking of infusion devices with regard to drug library, alarm management and connection to a PDMS system Mandatory minimum technical and functional requirements The infusion technology to be procured must cumulatively meet all of the following requirements. The absence of even a single feature leads to professional and clinical non-fitness. According to current market knowledge, only the infusion technology of B. Braun Melsungen GmbH & Co. KG in its entirety meets the above-mentioned mandatory requirements. Other suppliers that can provide a technically equivalent system that meets all the above requirements are invited to submit supporting evidence and technical documentation under this notice.
