The Stakeholder Consultation report aims to gather and present diverse perspectives on safe and secure parking and resting facilities across Europe. By using a combination of qualitative and quantitative data, the report draws on the expertise of professionals from various backgrounds and Member States within the transport, parking operation and resting sectors. This comprehensive approach seeks to create a clear and representative roadmap outlining the needs of the sector, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses, establishing benchmarks, and formulating assumptions and recommendations grounded in the sector's real needs. The report incorporates insights from a wide range of stakeholders, including EU bodies, national transport ministries, parking operators, transport associations, trade unions, drivers, companies, enforcement authorities, and technology providers that participated in the activities organised under the framework of the study, in multiple ways.
