University Limerick Hospital Group (ULHG) has a requirement for the provision of Ophthalmology outpatient clinics. A cohort of patients have been identified from waiting lists as requiring clinical assessment to be completed as a priority. Any Contract that results from this competition shall be for the initial requirement of up to 200 patients to be seen before year end (2024). There is no requirement for procedures to be included in the consultation but eye measurements may be taken as part of the visit. Consultation for each patient may include; • Initial examination • Diagnosis • All ancillary services provided including, clinical notes, sterile services infection control procedures, clinical waste disposable, IT and quality assurance. This tender process is being conducted under Annex XIV of Procurement directives 2014/24/EU. The required services are listed as Annex XIV services, and accordingly, only Articles 74 to 77 of Directive 2014/24/EC applies to the award of any contract(s) that arise from this process.
