Torfaen County Borough Council is seeking to replace their existing suites of (fragmented) software and procure a single solution to deliver a combined, fully integrated and scalable Planning, Building Control, Environmental Health, Housing Grants and Licensing back office administrative recording system to use for the day to day processing and management of a busy 60+ user department.
In addition, a number of other options are sought in respect of providing further functionality alongside the above requirements, but which compliment and integrate fully with the core needs. These items surround discharging the Local Authority's responsibility to Trading Standards and Local Land Charges. A fully featured EDRMS solution working across all service areas within the system is of interest, as is the possibility of a vendor provided Managed Service.
