Descrizione

In 2008, the Trust outsourced its MRI scanning requirements to Alliance Medical Limited for an 8 year period ("the Existing Arrangement").
Its requirements have increased and it now needs two additional scanners, to provide MR and CT scanning services.
The Trust is itself procuring works for the construction of appropriate facilities to site the new scanners (to be called off an existing framework agreement).
The Trust is also entering into a contract with Alliance Medical under which Alliance Medical will provide the additional scanning services described above for a term of 8 years. Alliance Medical will take a lease from the Trust of the new facilities. This new agreement will include services provided from the new scanners. The Existing Arrangement will also be extended to terminate at the same time as the new arrangements.
