The objective of the study is to provide evidence for the evaluation of the impacts and achievements of Directive 2006/126/EC on driving licences (Third Driving Licence Directive or the Directive). The evaluation also considers the previous Driving Licence Directives (i.e. Directive 80/1263/EEC – First Driving Licence Directive – and Directive 91/439/EEC – Second Driving Licence Directive).
