Description

The Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) intends to fundamentally refurbish the institute building 4113 for "Radioecology and Radiation Protection" (IRS), which, among other things, deals with intensive research (analysis of radionuclides in the environment, repository problems) and trains students in the field of radioecology, physics and chemistry of radionuclides and radiation protection. In addition, the training and further education centre for technical radiation protection officers (e.g. from the fields of application medicine, research, industry) is visited annually by about 1,200 participants. The location of the construction site is located on the grounds of the Herrenhausen Campus.
