Germany-Bremen: Architectural, engineering and planning services
Bremer Bäder operates 5 hall baths, 3 combined baths and 3 free ranges, as well as vital training, paradice (ice sports hall) and 3 leased course baths.
As part of an intensive examination and decision-making process (the 2014 Bathing Plan), it has now been decided to replan and construct two baths (new construction of Kombibad on the Freibad Horn site, replacement new Westbad construction). Due to a very high need for the Unibade to renovate, no renovation has been carried out. The required capacity compensation is to take place through a new construction at the Freibad Horn site.
The subject of this invitation to tender is the planning of the buildings, outdoor installation design, structural design and technical equipment for the new construction of the Horn Kombibad. Investment costs of approximately EUR 14700000 are expected for the planned measures at the Freibad Horn site. The following commitments are foreseen:
— New construction of a swimming hall of 10 * 50 m – Simply Swimming lines on the site of the Horn Free Sbad;
— where appropriate, lift floor to offer courses;
— Further development to the Kombi bath as a structural and operational unit;
— Partial dismantling of open-air bath;
— Regeneration of the outer basin;
— The outdoor area should be accessible from the hall bath, thereby ensuring continued use as an outdoor bath. — Participation procedures during the 2015 free bathing season to ensure the desired requirements on the part of users (results to be taken into account in the planning process; in the form of a public ‘planning feedback’, the planning should be presented and discussed to citizens).
