Description

Stadtwerke Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main (VGF) is planning an expansion of the central tram workshop (STZW). The existing building is a 9m high hall with a floor area of about 120.00 x 220.00 m. Southwest of the existing hall next to track 25 (Axis A') an extension is to be built. The extension of the hall is also about 9.00 m high from OK terrain to OK Attika and extends over a length of about 118.50 m. The extension is about 25.00 m upstream to the existing building in the west. In this area, an extension of the hall on track 25 is added to the north. In the eastern single-track area, the hall is approximately 9.25 m wide. In the western area including the extension in track 25 about 18.00 m wide. In the area of track 26, a pit is planned over a large part of the hall. Approximately in the middle of the hall, the hall is basemented as an access to the maintenance pit and as an additional storage area.
