Description

The Capital Region, in cooperation with the Novo Nordic Foundation, is planning the construction of a new diabetes centre at Herlev Hospital. The project includes the construction of a diabetes centre for treatment and clinical research in diabetes. The centre is planned to be built with a gross surface area of approximately 14 000 m² above ground and approximately 10 000 m² below ground. The Capital Region provides land at Herlev Hospital and facilities are financed by the Novo Nordic Fund. Construction is planned to meet BK2020 energy requirements. The budget has been estimated. NIRAS A/S shall provide the developer’s advice. The assembly advice is provided by Cowi A/S with the sub-advisers Vilhelm Lauritzen A/S, Mikkelsen Arkitekter A/S and landscape architect Sted ApS.
