Description

The Accord Procurement Group (the Authority) was set up in 2009 in response to Department of Social Developments Procurement Strategy for Social Housing issued in October 2008 and the position papaer issued in March 2009. The consortium complied a business plan that was submitted to the Department of Social Development in May 2009 outlining its Procurement Strategy over the next 5 years.
Accord has submitted a 3 year bid from 2010 to 2013 that can deliver nearly 300 units of social housing in all areas of Northern Ireland.
The framework will cover the construction of all types of social housing and be used by all five members to deliver the programme of work provided each year for the next 3 years by the NIHE. The consortiums procurement strategy is based on key objectives namely; collaborative working and the drive for efficiencies.
For the purpose of this contract award notice notice the Contracting Authority will act as a central purchasing body. The following UK contracting authorities shall be able to use the contract(s).
