Description

The Flemish Waterweg has divided its area of activity into 3 territories or regions (see section ‘Situation’). Each region manages a number of corridors or fairways. A marine and PA system is already in place on a number of corridors. These existing marine phony and PA systems will be replaced by the solution offered in this contract, possibly after a period of maintenance under this contract. On other corridors, the deployment of marine phony and PA may be commissioned for remote control, possibly in cooperation with the project management of this corridor. The contract shall apply throughout its scope. Management is done centrally, with a local anchoring per region. The Flemish Waterweg uses marine phonie and PA systems to operate structures (objects) (bridges, locks, etc.) at a distance, both for local operation.
