Description

United Utilities are seeking companies capable of supplying a leakage correlator which can operate on all common pipe materials but specifically can outperform the following criteria on MDPE pipe:
Correlation distance of >75 m on MDPE water pipes, to within 1 m accuracy and with a processing time of under 2 minutes.
The units must be easily portable by a single person.
The units must come with their own software that is either Windows Laptop, or Toughbook compatible.
The units must have a robust noise cancelling system, to enable their use in high background noise environments.
The units must not be reliant on attachment to a metal pipe fitting for accurate correlation.
The units must be able to detect leaks in a non-invasive manner.
