Description

The district of Neustadt a.d.Waldnaab is planning to expand and renovate the Lobkowitz secondary school in Neustadt a.d.Waldnaab. The existing secondary school building must be expanded and converted into sub-areas. To date, 22 classrooms have been used in the existing school building, and a further 12 classes are currently temporarily housed in containers. Together with the additionally planned classrooms, this leads to the new secondary school with a total of 37 classes for a total of about 960 students. In addition, extensions for specialist rooms, administration and the all-day school are planned. In total, the programme area of the existing building and extension is approximately 7,600 sqm, of which approximately 4,000 sqm of new building space. The playground facilities with integrated multi-purpose playground and parking spaces are to be redesigned. The implementation of the measure is planned in construction phases as well as in ongoing school operations. The secondary school was connected to the district heating network of the school hill with a connected power of 500 kW in 2017. This line can be used in coordination with the local energy supplier for the planned extension of the secondary school. An architectural competition was organised for the project in 2024. For further information on the project, the plans of the draft competition to be implemented are provided in the information documents. The contracting authority expects costs for the extension and reconstruction of the school of approximately EUR 27.0 million excluding VAT for cost groups 300 and 400. The subject of the contract is consulting services for building physics in accordance with HOAI Annex 1 (referred to in Section 3(1)), Section 1.2., Performance phases 1 - 7. The allocation of services in stages is reserved. No additional fee claims can be asserted from the gradual commissioning. Planning shall start immediately after the award of the contract.
