The urban development company Recklinghausen mbH (SER) is planning a change of use on the site of the former Trabrennbahn in Recklinghausen. The concept of “housing on water” has been developed for the project.
In view of its long-standing use as a tramway and the suspicion of contaminated sites, a groundwater analysis is to be carried out for the area of the former Trabrennbahn.
Two separate groundwater horizons are to be distinguished in the survey area. The upper aquifer is formed by the low-power, quaternary sands (and silts). It is a pore aquifer. The second aquifer is built on the rock of the upper chalk (Emschermergel).
The planned current studies are intended to cover groundwater in the first. Cover groundwater in the quartary locker rock deposits with the exception of the Emscher Mergel.
The exact definition is subject to the results of a cable and line search to be carried out.
Holes for the installation of the quaternary groundwater monitoring stations (1. Groundwater) shall be ramped with the single core tube and the drill squeeze in the protection of a pipe with an outer diameter ≥ 219 mm in dry drill. A detailed soil statement is required, in particular with regard to organoleptics (optics, odours) and sampling per layer or linear metre (single samples) and packaging in glass containers.
The drillings must, for the most part, be pre-drilled because of a recognisable influence on war.
PEHD filter and insert pipes DN 80 (90 x 5.1 mm) are to be used to extend drilling to groundwater monitoring stations. The extension of the monitoring stations must be agreed with the assessor.
The construction site is located in the district of Recklinghausen-Hillerheide and is bounded to the north by the Blitzkuhlenstrasse. To the east, the site is bordered by commercial businesses and the forest located on the Siemensstrasse. The A2 motorway is located south of the processing area. In the west, the road at the saddle is the boundary of the terrain.
The construction site will be connected and developed via the Blitzkuhlenstrasse and the two roads on the raceway.
