Description

This contract concerns the supply of neutral point passive compensators to be installed on 3N400V three-phase low-voltage public networks. This equipment has the function of limiting the displacement of the neutral point resulting from load or production imbalances between phases. They help to improve the balancing of phase-neutral voltages, reduce voltage gaps between users connected to different phases and maintain the quality of network supply. The compensators shall be connected by-pass to the existing network and shall operate in a fully passive, continuous and autonomous manner, without power electronics, without a control system and without an auxiliary power supply. The proposed solutions may be based on a zigzag-type magnetic coupling or on any equivalent passive technology to achieve identical performance in neutral point stabilization and improved voltage balancing. The equipment must be suitable for permanent operation on low-voltage public networks, have a robust design compatible with an outdoor installation and meet the requirements of reliability, safety, dielectric strength and resistance to environmental constraints applicable to electrical distribution equipment. Expected performance includes limiting neutral point displacement, improving the balancing of network voltages, reducing voltage imbalances and maintaining the quality of supply under normal operating conditions.
