UK-Bristol: construction work for houses
Construction work for houses. The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) is seeking to appoint a development partner to secure the redevelopment and long term stewardship of the former Blackberry Hill Hospital Site in Bristol. The HCA wishes to achieve the delivery of a mixed tenure residential scheme, together with an element of commercial and employment space and open, recreational amenity space. As a site of important, cultural and historic significance to the City, the sympathetic refurbishment and conversion of a number of buildings, including Grade II listed will be necessary. The site is owned by the HCA, and the development partner will be required to work with the HCA and a local Community Partnership Board, established by the HCA, in formulating and progressing proposals for the redevelopment and long term stewardship of the site.
