Czech Republic-Brno: Low-floor buses
The subject of the contract is the supply of 12 new low-floor two-axle buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG). 6 ks of low-floor two-axle CNG buses will be intended primarily for driving in the central parts of the city of Brno (‘intra-urban buses’) and 6 ks of low-floor two-axle CNG buses will be intended primarily for driving in the outskirts of the city of Brno (‘suburban buses’). The contracting authority allows (but does not require) suppliers to offer 2 types of buses in their tender – 1 type for suburban buses and 1 (other) type of intra-urban buses. The supply will also include one set of diagnostic equipment, including software and its update for 10 years free of charge, and one set of special tools for the maintenance and repair of buses (in case of the supply of 2 types of buses where it is not fully possible to use one diagnostic device or one set of tools, one set of diagnostic equipment including software and one set of special tools for each type of bus supplied). The purpose of the contract is also to provide training free of charge to 20 staff of the contracting authority for the servicing and maintenance of the buses supplied.
