Description

1.1. The subject of the contract is the successive collection, transport and management of municipal waste from the owners of real estate on which residents live and on which residents do not live, and municipal waste is generated in the municipality of Mikołów. 1.2. The area of the municipality of Mikołów is 79.2 km2. At the end of 2024, the population of Mikołów was 38,977. Based on the declarations submitted, the number of persons residing in the commune as at 31.12.2024 was 38.772. On the basis of Annex B, the length of the roads on which the properties to be serviced under the municipal waste collection and management system are located was determined. The total length of the roads is 254.26 km. 1.3. The contractor is obliged to collect and manage municipal waste provided by the owners of the property according to the following fractions: non-segregated (mixed) municipal waste, (b) paper (including cardboard), (c) glass, (d) plastics with metals and multi-material packaging, (e) bio-waste, (f) ash and bottom slag, (g) expired medicines, (h) waste batteries, (i) furniture and other bulky waste, (j) household debris, (k) waste tyres, (l) other non-biodegradable waste, (m) textiles and clothing. A detailed description of the subject-matter of the contract is set out in Annex A to the tender specifications. The estimated quantities of the different fractions of waste to be collected and disposed of during the term of the contract are set out in Annex D to the tender specifications.
