Description

Extension of the Brocade network:
The new Clinical Research Centre (CRC) as an extension of Fraunhofer ITEM in Hannover will be operational in 4.2014. A data network with the usual services of a research organisation is needed for approximately 160 employees.
Currently, the ITEM operates 29 brocade switches with approximately 1400 active ports.
It is necessary to extend or upgrade the entire existing Brocade network. In addition, a maintenance contract will be offered for 5 years. In addition to the refurbishment and extension of the systems, extensive configuration work will be carried out on the overall network. The system shall be installed, wired, connected and put into service. The switches must be implemented in the existing network, including replacing existing components or adapting the configuration, and at the end the whole network test and acceptance, and handing over and induction of the IT staff responsible for the new network components.
