D5 Repair of CB road in km 88.3 - 94.0 L+P and checkpoints of the Police of the Czech Republic
Note: Not all information for this procedure were successfully computed. Please consult linked documents for more details.
The construction solves the continuous repair of the D5 motorway road, complex modifications of the restraint system, repair of the rain sewer and minor repairs of bridge structures and roadways of the branches of the two MUK • Sulkov (EXIT 89) • Nýřany (EXIT 93) The scope of the construction is given by the operating station approximately km 88.3 – 95.0, the total length of the section is therefore more than 6 km in each direction. A complete demolition of the existing cement-concrete cover and its replacement with a new cement-concrete cover with reinforced working and expansion joints will be carried out within the road. Depending on the extent of the breach, the cemented base layers will be locally repaired or completely removed and replaced with a new base layer of corresponding parameters. Part of the work is the repair and modification of the lattices, including their cleaning, reprofiling and local restoration, or the implementation of new monolithic concrete troughs at the edges of the road. At the same time, there will be replacement, replenishment and cleaning of street inlets and related parts of the drainage system. Road trenches will be cleaned, stripped of raid vegetation and locally replaced with prefabricated trench blocks. For all SOS sounds, the approach will be modified and the selected sounds will be expanded to meet the applicable RMD standards. These modifications will require local expansion of the earthwork, modification of the slopes and related construction works. As part of the safety measures, a complete replacement of the restraint systems will be carried out. In the central dividing strip, the existing steel barriers will be removed and replaced with concrete barriers. At the outer side of the road, the barriers will also be completely replaced and supplemented locally, taking into account the recommendations of the safety inspection (CEBASS) and the applicable technical regulations. The construction also includes repairs of selected bridge buildings SO 201 – Mosty č. ev. D5-098..1 and D5-098..2, including in particular restoration of corrosion protection of steel supporting structures, repair of bridge seals, replacement or replenishment of sealing and grouting materials of expansion joints, repair of cornice-vehicle interfaces and local repairs of concrete structures. The culverts will be cleaned, devegetated, safety railings will be added and, in justified cases, concrete cornices or entire culverts will be replaced. On the branches of interchanges, asphalt roads will be repaired by de-milling asphalt layers at a thickness of about 120 mm and replacing them with new asphalt layers within the boundaries of the existing road. At the same time, cleaning and local repairs of adjacent drainage elements and repairs of downhills, including the replacement of culverts under the downhills, will be carried out. Part of the construction is the reconstruction of selected unused rest areas to the control point of the Police of the Czech Republic, modification of entrances and exits, preservation of existing paved areas and connection to the existing drainage system. During the implementation, temporary organisation of transport in the form of temporary traffic signs and partial or complete closures will be ensured. At the end of the construction works, the horizontal road markings will be restored and the vertical road markings will be retrofitted.
