Description

1.The subject-matter of the public contract is the provision by the Gdansk Urban Transport Board (the budgetary unit of the Municipality of Gdańsk, acting on behalf of the Municipality of Gdańsk) to the Metropolitan Transport Association of the Gulf of Gdańsk with respect to the introduction into the ticket system of the Urban Transport Board in Gdańsk of metropolitan tickets enabling passengers holding tickets issued by the Metropolitan Transport Association of the Gulf of Gdańsk and the rules for making settlements for that purpose with the City Transport Authority in Gdańsk between 1.1.2018 and 31.12.2018.
2. Scheduled passenger services for passengers with metropolitan tickets issued by MZKZG will be operated by buses and trams by the Urban Transport Administration in Gdańsk (also known as: ZTM) in the following municipalities and cities – members of the MZKZG:
(a) the City of Gdańsk;
(b) the City of Gdynia;
(C) Municipality of Kolbuda;
(D) Municipality of Pruszcz Gdański;
(e) the City of Pruszcz Gdański;
(F) the City of Sopot;
(g) Municipality of Żukowo.
3. In the performance of this contract, the ZTM will be required, in particular, to:
(a) to accept the carriage of passengers and their luggage on the basis of metropolitan tickets on the means of transport referred to in paragraph 1. 2, on the lines of urban transport it organises, within the area described in paragraph. 2;
(b) ensure the control of metropolitan tickets for journeys by the ZTM;
(C) ensure control of documents entitling, pursuant to MZKZG Assembly Resolution No 20/2007 [as amended] of 7 November 2007, to travel on the basis of reduced metropolitan tickets
(D) the conclusion of contracts for the provision of transport services on the urban transport lines it organises, within the area described in paragraph. 2;
(e) network and line planning within the boundaries of the urban transport they organise;
(F) the handling of complaints and requests for public transport on the urban transport lines it organises within the area described in paragraph. 2;
(g) the communication to the MZKZG of information relating to the operation of the urban transport it organises;
(H) providing travellers with information on the offers made by MZKZG to use urban transport;
(I) information on integrated public transport in the MZKZG area.
