The tendered task includes a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), with a single offer of:
(a) Design, design and construction of new treatment plants for the treatment of hospital waste water, including the construction of a compensation tank and a pumping station, and works to connect to the pressure line.
(b) Operation, maintenance and renewal of purification systems, compensation tanks and pumping stations in a subsequent 15 year operating phase with an option to extend for a further 5 years.
The duration of the contract is defined in order to ensure the integration of installations and operations and to provide incentives to optimise the long-term totality of the project.
