Description

As part of corridor refurbishment 5321 Würzburg – Ansbach – Treuchtlingen, a call for tenders is planned for the planning and implementation of the control and safety technology (LST). The section under consideration extends from Gunzenhausen (a) at kilometre 24.902 to Würzburg Heidingsfeld Ost (e) at kilometre 135,000; the network boundary between the Nuremberg network and the Würzburg network is 99,500 km. In addition, block compaction is provided to increase operational performance. The measures serve the fundamental modernisation of the LST infrastructure to ensure operational safety, reliability and preparation for digital rail operations. Commissioning is planned for 22.06.2029. The planning is digital according to Ril. 819.0101.
