Description

The Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre) requests your offer for public transport services. More detailed items and contract periods can be found in the appendices to the invitation to tender. Transport is procured on a gross contract. Gross contract means a public transport service contract referred to in the Service Contracts Decree (1370/2007) and the Act on Public Contracts in Special Sectors (1398/2016), where the ticket revenue risk lies with the subscriber. In addition to the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, which acts as the contracting entity, the municipalities, cities and competent authorities of the regions contribute to the financing of the contracts arising from the procurement. The transport services covered by the contracts resulting from this acquisition will be granted an exclusive right under the Public Service Contracts Regulation in return for the discharge of public service obligations.
