The district of Feuerbach enjoys a high popularity of the population in the area of club sports as well as individual leisure sports. However, the clubs and organisations based there cannot meet the need for training times over the current hall stock. For this reason, a municipal sports hall will be built right next to the existing “vitadrom” of the Feuerbach Sports Association in the Wilhelm-Braun-Sportpark. The designated sports hall is intended in particular for school, club and leisure sports, as well as for use for competitions of local clubs. The construction project is not covered by the Assembly Facilities Ordinance. The new building will include a 3-divisible sports hall (1.215 m²) with 199 spectators and optionally a well-usable gymnastics room (90 – 160 m²). It should also allow competitive use for all common sports. This also includes a sales opportunity for drinks and small food offerings.
