Description

The subject of the contract is the provision of postal services by the contractor by means of commercial collection/consolidation and derivation to a delivery company. The award of partial service discounts and the reimbursement to the contracting authority after deduction of the services provided as well as postage are part of this invitation to tender. The total quantity must be split by cost centre by the contractor and an annual report must be provided by the contractor. In 2024, the University of Bremen had a mail volume of about 57,000 consignments, which are divided into the different types of consignment. Approximately 70% of all shipments are sent in postcode areas 27.... and 28..... The subject-matter of the service is set out in full in the terms of reference attached as Annex 1. The further contractual framework conditions for the provision of the service to be awarded result from the text of the contract presented as Annex 2.
