Description

The city of Nürtingen intends to implement flood protection measures at Neckar over the next six years. Seven construction stages are planned, with a total cost of around EUR 24000000. The measures must be implemented in close cooperation with the approval, specialist and funding authorities. They are supported by the Stuttgart RP with grants of 70 % under the water management guidelines. The measures (plannings) started in 2016 and the preliminary planning of sections 1 and 2 has been completed and the design plans are underway. The planning of sections 3 and 4 will be commissioned shortly. In parallel, the additional free space planning and the other necessary technical plans are being worked out or are still to be commissioned.
The tendered service includes project management of the implementation of these flood protection measures in a framework agreement for a period of 4 years.
