CH-Lausanne: mass spectrometer
EPFL intends to acquire a mass spectrometer with an elecbulisation source and a flight time analyser (ESI-TOF-MS) for its Laboratory of Physical and Analytical Electrochemistry (LEPA) of the Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC).
The equipment will be dedicated to advanced research on Electrostatic Electronics (ESTASI), on the study of redox biomolecular reactions by MS and on the design of functional chips for electronic bulging.
For the purposes of ISIC and the specific scientific objectives of its LEPA laboratory, the focus will be on the following research areas:
— coupling and synchronising ESTASI sources to the TOF-MS mass spectrometer,
— apply the ESTASI-TOF-MS technique in MS imaging to visualise molecules on a surface.
Providers can obtain general information about the laboratory involved in this search via the internet link http://lepa.epfl.ch.
