Description

Subject-matter of these supplies: Purchase of 6 ambulances spread over the duration of the contract (72 months; 2026 – 2031). Every year an ambulance will be ordered: • 2026: 1 ambulance • 2027: 1 ambulance • 2028: 1 ambulance • 2029: 1 ambulance • 2030: 1 ambulance • 2031: 1 ambulance Delivery place: Relief zone North Limburg Norbert Neeckxlaan 52 z 3920 Lommel Description: The Relief Zone is competent for urgent medical care assignments and has specially equipped ambulances for this purpose, arranged in accordance with operational needs. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the vehicle is delivered including the equipment described. If certain parts of equipment are not supplied, the supplier must provide sufficient space in the design for subsequent integration. All the equipment proposed is new and each element meets the special intervention conditions. The supplier must take this into account when proposing the equipment. The vehicle is an ambulance of type C 4x2 with trunk structure. The vehicle must be capable of being driven by a driver holding a C licence. The chassis must be of an approved and homologated type, adapted to the vehicle design. This adjustment is supported by a weighting calculation of the entire concept, which is attached to the tender. Upon delivery, the vehicle will be weighed. If the vehicle does not meet the intended weight, this may give rise to refusal of the product. The original rear body of the vehicle must be equipped as a sanitary cell, suitable for the administration of medical care in accordance with the standards for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS). The vehicle shall meet the specifications of a Type C Mobile Intensive Care Unit as defined in the standard NBN EN 1789. The vehicle offered must be of the most recent commercial type and compatible with the current chain of emergency medical care. The vehicle shall be operationally deployable with a payload exceeding 100 kg in addition to the requirements of the European standard NBN EN 1789 type C. This additional payload is necessary for the subsequent addition of medical equipment. The vehicle shall be capable of simultaneously and safely transporting one lying patient, two seated persons in the sanitary cell and two persons in the driver's cab, including the driver (total of five persons). The weight calculation is done excluding the spare wheel, the holder if any and the jack. These parts are not provided in the vehicle, but are part of the delivery. The vehicle must fully comply with the applicable European and Belgian regulations at the time of submission of the tender and at the time of delivery.
